The main component of the PE pouch film for sanitary napkins is polyethylene (Polyethylene), which has the characteristics of stretchability and waterproofness. It is widely used in the personal care industry, such as women's sanitary napkins, panty liners, adult diapers and other products.PE film is made through the production process of melting, casting and quenching, and there are two ways: single-layer casting and multi-layer co-extrusion casting.
The production process of PE film is relatively complicated, mainly including three steps: melting, casting and quenching. First, the polyethylene material is melted; then it is cast on the cooling plate to form a flat film; finally, it is solidified and formed by quenching. This production process ensures the flatness and stability of the PE film. PE film is mainly used for the bottom layer in sanitary napkins, which plays a waterproof and breathable role. It is made of special polyethylene plastic film as the base material and processed with special additives to prevent liquid leakage and keep dry. In addition, there is usually a V-shaped micropore design on the PE film to accelerate liquid absorption and prevent back seepage.
