Detailed Introduction
The main raw materials of sanitary napkins include topsheet raw materials, super absorbent polymers, fluff pulp, PE film, airlaid paper, sap paper, release paper etc. These materials play an important role in the structure and function of sanitary napkins.
The structure of sanitary napkins can be divided into the following parts:
Topsheet layer: Directly in contact with the skin, usually made of cotton material, non-woven fabric or perforated film, designed to keep dry and prevent back seepage.
Absorbent layer: Mainly composed of polymer absorbent resin, fluff pulp and other materials, used to absorb and store menstrual blood. Ultra-thin sanitary napkins are composed of airlaid paper and sap paper.
Backsheet layer: Prevent liquid leakage, usually made of special polyethylene (PE) plastic film, with waterproof and breathable properties.
Barrier Side: Prevent side leakage, usually made of soft non-woven fabric, increase comfort.
Wrapping layer: Protect hot melt adhesive and release paper to ensure the isolation of sanitary napkins before use.
The role of wrapping PE film in sanitary napkins is waterproof. The use of PE film makes sanitary napkins more durable and comfortable, especially suitable for high-end products.
